Medical Qi-Gong (MQ)
- Qi-Gong (Q-G)-I: 48 hrs, 2 hrs per week semester course.
The basic understanding of Qi-Gong, Peace-Loose-with-action Qi-Gong, Five elements Qi-Gong and Eight Posters Tsing-Yi Qi-Gong Stance are taught in this course. This is the pre-requisite of (Q-G)-II.
- Qi-Gong (Q-G)-II: 48 hrs, 2 hrs per week semester course.
Different basic classical Qi-Gong moves are covered in this course, such as Tai Chi Ruler, Dragon Ball and Off-Hand Qi-Gong. Basic Qi-Gong diagnosing techniques as well as the normal micro-cosmic breathing method are introduced to the students.
- Qi-Gong (Q-G)-III: 48 hrs, 2 hrs per week semester course.
Abnormal micro-cosmic breathing method and the micro-cosmic merge are the focus on in this course. Students will also learn about meridians and how to visualize the flow of energy and how to induce it to the meridians. The Eight Silk Brocade as well as the sounds therapy in Qi-Gong is included.
- Qi-Gong (Q-G)-IV: 48 hrs, 2 hrs per week semester course.
This course is only for the Qi-Gong major and is the pre-requisite of (Q-G)-V and (Q-G)-T. Additional breathing methods will be introduced to the students. The course will place more focus on students' self-energy cultivation, Qi-defense/protection (King Kong Qi-Gong, Controlling Tiger or Iron Shirt Qi-Gong).
- Qi-Gong (Q-G)-V: 48 hrs, 2 hrs per week semester course.
External and Internal I-Ching-Ching, Dao Yin Qi-Gong and Qi-Gong treatment are the major discussion in this course.
- Qi-Gong Teachers Training (Q-G)-T: 48 hrs, 2 hrs per week semester course.
This course is only for students majoring in Qi-Gong and is compulsory for certification as a Medical Qi-Gong Master.
Medical Qi-Gong (MQ) major students are required to have a minor of either Internal Martial Arts (I-M)Tc, or Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine (CCHM) with at least three electives to complete the Master Program of Medical Qi-Gong.
