Feng Shui (F-S)
- Feng Shui Fundamentals (F-S)-I 48 hrs, 2 hrs per week semester course.
This is the introductory course for all students as a major, minor, or elective and is the pre-requisite of (F-S). The course covers the basic theories, principles and applications of Feng Shui. Foundational concepts are taught along with the principles of Chi, Yin and Yang, the Cosmos, Five Element Theory, and the Bagua as they relate to the interior and exterior building design. Basic Feng Shui tools and cures are provided with their application to simple Feng Shui problems.
- Feng Shui Analysis and Cures (F-S)-II 48 hours, 2 hrs per week semester course.**
This course is designed for all students as a major, minor, or elective. Students are given in depth training in Methods of Analysis, Tangible and Intangible Factors – External and Internal, Spiritual practices for development of Personal Chi along with principles and techniques for Mystical Cures, Blessings, and Clearings. The Psycho-Spiritual aspects for practitioner and client will be discussed as well as the intangible and esoteric methods of Feng Shui. The use of Feng Shui tools and cures is further explained.
- The Feng Shui Consultation – Preparation and Practice (F-S)-III 48 hrs, 2 hrs per week semester course.
Students majoring in Feng Shui continue their development of Personal Chi by expanding their consciousness and awareness through certain practices such as meditation, Qi Gong, and Tai Chi. They will learn the classification and balancing of Chi types according to the Five Elements. The entire consultation process is explained.
- The Feng Shui Practicum and Research Paper (F-S)-IV 48 hrs, 2 hrs per week semester course.**
Students apply their Feng Shui knowledge and skills with a training practicum and a research project.
Feng Shui Practicum – Practicum comprising of Feng Shui of residential buildings such as homes, apartments and condos, and/or small businesses and corporations.
Feng Shui Research Paper – Pre-approved research project on an aspect of Feng Shui and a written report.
**Requirements: Successful completion of Feng Shui Fundamentals (F-S 1)
Feng-Shui (F-S) major students are required to have a minor of either I-Ching (I-C), Medical Qi-Gong (MQ) or Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine (CCHM) with at least three electives to complete the Master Program of Feng-Shui.
